New England Traffic Fatalities up Drastically

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced that the number and rate of traffic fatalities in 2010 fell to the lowest levels since 1949.  In region one, however, which includes Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine and Vermont, there was a 17.7 percent increase in traffic fatalities.
