Andrew Luck has a Disability Insurance Policy. How About YOU?
Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck will be insured if he suffers a catastrophic injury this fall.
Luck, who possibly would have been the No. 1 pick if he entered the NFL draft, already has secured a $5 million policy through the NCAA to cover a potential debilitating injury.
He is also planning on gaining additional security with a second policy once the NFL and union establish a new collective bargaining agreement. The delay is due to the expected decrease in guaranteed money for draft picks.
“The insurance program with the NCAA is a terrific thing,” Oliver Luck, Andrew’s father, told the Sporting News. “You add that with the supplemental insurance, and you have some security.”
You can get Disability Insurance for your occupation, too.
